Parents

The Respect in Sport Program is an online certification program designed to protect our youth as well as enhance Hockey Alberta’s mandate of providing a safe and fun environment for all of our participants. It is Canada’s leading online bullying, abuse, harassment, and negligence prevention program for parents, coaches, and community leaders.

The program is offered in two different streams:

• Respect in Sport Parent
  
  
  • Note that there is also a separate Respect in Sport course for coaches - Respect in Sport Activity Leader/Coach/Officials

Hockey Alberta requires one parent/guardian per family to successfully complete Respect in Sport Parent before their child can play minor hockey.

 Parents and Coaches/Team Officials will be required to recertify their Respect in Sport every four seasons.
